Supreme Court grants bail to accused in Mahant Narendra Giri death case

The Supreme Court has granted bail to Aadya Prasad Tiwari, an accused in the 2021 death of Mahant Narendra Giri. The court noted the trial is expected to take considerable time. Tiwari has been in custody since September 2021. The CBI has examined only a few witnesses out of 150 proposed.
