Social security coverage expanded from 19% in 2014 to 64% now, says Union Labour Minister Mandaviya, cites ILO report

Social security coverage in India has expanded from 19 percent to over 64 percent. This now encompasses 94 crore people, a significant increase from a decade ago. The Union Government's efforts have strengthened social security and labor frameworks. Four labor codes replaced 29 existing laws, simplifying worker-centric regulations.
