Singapore recommends adults to test for HIV once in lifetime

Singapore now advises all adults aged 21 and above to get tested for HIV once in their lifetime. This comes after a rise in infections last year. In 2025, 166 new cases were reported. The Communicable Diseases Agency urges those at risk for regular testing. Knowing one's status allows for early treatment and prevention.
