Settled India-Pakistan war through threat of tariffs: Trump reiterates claim

Donald Trump asserts he ended the India-Pakistan conflict in 2025 through tariffs. He stated he threatened 200 percent tariffs to deter fighting between the nuclear nations. Trump claims this action saved millions of lives. India, however, states the ceasefire occurred after Pakistan's DGMO contacted his Indian counterpart. India conducted Operation Sindoor in response to a terror attack.
