Omar Abdullah says NC awaiting nod for Jantar Mantar protest on statehood

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah stated his party seeks protest permission. The National Conference announced a sit-in protest in the national capital. This demonstration is planned for July 20, Parliament's monsoon session opening day. The party aims to press the Centre for restoring Jammu and Kashmir's statehood. However, Abdullah alleged some people are trying to sabotage their plan.
