Nihang Sikhs impose symbolic 'Khalsa tax' on HP vehicles at Punjab border point

Nihang Sikhs staged a protest on the Kiratpur Sahib-Manali highway. They collected a symbolic 'Khalsa tax' from Himachal-registered vehicles entering Punjab. This action was a demonstration against Himachal Pradesh's entry tax on out-of-state vehicles. The Nihang leader stated the collected funds would be used for the welfare of the poor.
