Lokpal scraps controversial tender to buy 7 BMW cars
The Lokpal has cancelled its tender for seven luxury BMW cars. The procurement was valued at approximately Rs 5 crore. Opposition parties and activists had criticized the decision. The Lokpal's full bench passed a resolution to cancel the offer. A corrigendum was issued on December 16, 2025. The tender was initially floated on October 16, 2025.
