Iran used Chinese spy satellite to target US bases

Iran reportedly acquired a Chinese-built spy satellite, the TEE-01B, in late 2024, enhancing its ability to monitor key military sites across the Middle East, including U.S. bases, according to a Financial Times report. The satellite, built by Earth Eye Co and operated with access to commercial ground stations, was allegedly used by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps to track sensitive locations in Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Bahrain, and Iraq around the time of recent regional attacks.
