India doubles its online public services; 105 pc growth recorded in two years: Govt

India has significantly boosted its online government services, more than doubling them to 23,919 by October 2025. This surge, a 105% increase, is attributed to the NeSDA Way Forward initiative, aiming for easier digital access. Mandatory online services also rose to 80%, with several states now offering most or all services via unified portals.
