Duplantis soars to new pole vault record and retains world title

Armand Duplantis of Sweden won the world pole vault title in Tokyo. He created a new world record of 6.30 metres. This was his third world outdoor title. Emmanouil Karalis of Greece secured silver. Kurtis Marschall of Australia won bronze. Duplantis expressed his happiness and love for Tokyo.
