Delhi electricity bill to rise again: Discoms get nod for fresh power surcharge. Check BSES, Tata Power new rates

Delhi's power regulator has permitted an additional fuel surcharge for electricity companies. This allows discoms to charge up to eight percent more on consumer bills. The Delhi Electricity Regulation Commission granted similar relief for the previous month. This move aims to help discoms recover increased power purchase costs. The relaxation applies on a month-to-month basis until further notice.
