Delhi-NCR weather update: IMD issues red alert as thunderstorms, heavy rain and gusty winds batter region

Delhi-NCR experienced cooler temperatures and relief from heatwave conditions following a second consecutive night of rain, thunderstorms, and strong winds. The IMD issued a red alert, warning of severe weather including intense thunderstorms and winds up to 80 kmph. Light to moderate rainfall is expected to continue, keeping temperatures below normal.
