Delhi AQI slips into 'very poor' category; cold wave conditions persist in the capital

Delhi woke up to fog and a biting cold wave on Saturday morning. Temperatures plunged to 5.4 degrees Celsius. Air pollution levels also spiked dramatically, reaching the 'very poor' category. Several areas recorded high AQI readings. On Friday, the city saw similar cold weather with rain and smog. Air quality remained poor to very poor across the capital.
