China lauds nations that denied overflight rights for Taiwan president

China praised Seychelles, Mauritius, and Madagascar for denying overflight permission to Taiwan President Lai Ching-tes aircraft, saying it reflects the one-China principle. Taiwan, however, accused Beijing of pressuring the countries to block the flight ahead of Lais planned visit to Eswatini.
