Bangladeshi exits from Bengal spike to triple digits after SIR

Earlier, around five to six Bangladeshis were apprehended every day. Prior to SIR, the BSF used to apprehend 5-6 Bangladeshis every day. The state police have carried out a drive to identify illegal migrants. With the SIR exercise on, there has been an increase in these numbers, a senior BSF official told ET.
