Actor Vijay summoned by CBI again on January 19 in Karur stampede case

Actor and TVK chief Vijay has been summoned for a second round of questioning by the CBI on January 19 in connection with the Karur stampede case. The federal agency took over the investigation following a Supreme Court order after the September 27, 2025, incident claimed 41 lives.
