Abbott Labs to face trial on infant formula

A Chicago trial begins Wednesday. Four families claim Abbott Laboratories' baby formula caused a dangerous bowel disease in their premature infants. The lawsuits accuse Abbott of failing to warn about the risks of necrotising enterocolitis, or NEC. Abbott denies the claims, stating its products are vital for premature babies.
