TVK-led Tamil Nadu govt to present maiden budget on August 5

The TVK-led government will present its maiden budget on August 5. A dedicated Agriculture Budget will be tabled the following day, August 6. The Assembly Speaker announced these dates to reporters at the Secretariat. Parliamentary immunity protocols for arresting legislators were also clarified by the Speaker. Prior permission is mandatory for arrests within protected Assembly premises.
