'Fraudulent' registration of Rs 100 crore Palani mutt land: Police register FIR, begin probe

Palani Adivaram police are investigating a fraudulent land registration case. A 1.4-acre land parcel worth Rs 100 crore was illegally registered. The land belongs to the Arulmigu Dhandayudapani Swami Mutt in Palani. Police have registered cases under five sections for cheating and forgery. Further legal action will be taken after examining all relevant documents.
