Tamil Nadu election 2026: 24.22 lakh votes cast in Chennai, a rise of 20,038 compared to 2021 Assembly election

Of the 16 Assembly constituencies, Perambur saw the highest turnout with 2,03,057 votes polled (89.73%), followed by Kolathur with 1,82,364 (86.11%) and Dr. Radhakrishnan Nagar with 1,80,473 (90.53%).
