Near Khader Nawaz Khan Road, Chennai Metro Rail starts work on tunnel to link Sterling Road for Phase II project

Tunnelling starts near KNK Road. The machines will mostly drill under Uthamar Gandhi Road, Valluvar Kottam Road, and some buildings. Officials say the tunnel will be completed by next January
