Police officer beaten to death after dispute with sons girlfriends relatives near Amritsar; 5 arrested

An Assistant Sub-Inspector was allegedly beaten to death in his native village near Amritsar following a personal dispute. The victim, ASI Jagjit Singh, was reportedly attacked by relatives of his son's girlfriend after a verbal argument escalated into a violent confrontation. Five suspects have been arrested as police continue to search for others involved.
