Chandigarh: 55-year-old woman murdered by son on Diwali; accused arrested in Sonipat

A 55-year-old woman was found murdered at her Chandigarh residence on Diwali morning, allegedly by her son who slit her throat. Neighbours discovered the body after hearing screams and entering the house via the roof. The son, reportedly mentally unstable, fled but was later apprehended in Sonipat.
