SEBI bars mutual funds from pre-IPO placements, allows anchor investments

The move follows recent amendments that expanded anchor investor quotas in IPOsraising total reservation to 40 per cent, with 33 per cent earmarked for mutual funds and 7 per cent for insurers and pension funds.
