ONGC shares surge over 6% after signing shipbuilding contracts with Samsung

Through joint ventures with Japans Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, ONGC will own and operate the vessels, each with a cargo capacity of 100,000 cubic meters, to transport 600 KTPA of ethane for subsidiary OPaL from the US to India.
