Markets open higher on strong global cues, FII buying support

The BSE Sensex opened at 84,210.00, up from its previous close of 84,065.75, and was trading at 84,310.07, higher by 244.32 points or 0.29 per cent at 9:50 AM. The Nifty 50 index opened at 25,922.65 against its previous close of 25,867.30 and was trading at 25,942.65
