Koffee With Karan 9: Saif Ali Khan reveals Kareena Kapoor Khan doesn't talk after 10 PM; the actress says, That's my me time

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor recently appeared together on Koffee With Karan Season 9, marking their return to the popular chat show after 16 years. The couple brought their trademark humour and candid conversations to the episode, sharing interesting insights into their relationship. During the conversation, Saif revealed a lesser-known habit of his wife, leaving host Karan Johar and Kareena amused. When Karan asked Saif whether Kareena was as effortlessly entertaining at home as she appeared on the show, the actor shared that he had discovered an interesting detail about her only after spending a few years together. According to Saif, Kareena prefers not to engage in conversations once she goes to bed after 10 PM. Sharing his experience, Saif said, I will tell you something about her. I didn't realise, and she never told me that she doesn't talk after 10 pm, once we are in bed. I didn't know. Kareena quickly explained her preference, saying, That's my downtime. Saif then recalled how it took him a couple of years to understand that his wife preferred some quiet time at night. He explained, It took me a couple of years to figure out. I was like why is she not saying anything? Is something wrong? Suddenly, she would go 'hmm'. Go very quiet. I am like 'Did I do something? Why is she quiet?' And it took me a long time to realise all by myself that she doesn't wanna talk. Adding to the conversation, Kareena clarified that she enjoys her personal time at night and saves her conversations for the morning. She said, That's my me time. Only in the morning I am entertaining. Her response left Karan and Saif laughing. Saif further described how energetic Kareena is throughout the day, particularly during the morning hours. He shared, In the morning there is high energy, conversations on the phone, and sometimes I am watching her talk to me and telling me what's happening and I am waiting for her to take a breath. Responding to her husband's observation, Kareena added, I am giving him all the gossip and he is not listening. For the unversed, Saif and Kareena have been married for over 14 years. The two began dating while working together on Tashan and tied the knot on October 16, 2012. They are parents to two sons, Taimur and Jeh. On the professional front, Kareena was recently seen in Daayra, co-starring Prithviraj Sukumaran. Saif, meanwhile, shared screen space with Akshay Kumar in Priyadarshan's directorial Haiwaan.
