Amid Sonam Wangchuk row, Aamir's 3 Idiots set for re-release

Aamir Khan's '3 Idiots' will re-release in theatres on September 4, 2026, as part of NH Studioz's acquisition of the Vidhu Vinod Chopra Films catalogue. The film has also resurfaced due to speculation linking Rancho to Sonam Wangchuk, a theory Aamir denied at a BFI Q&A while expressing concern for Wangchuk's health.
