Ajit Pawar plane crash: Riteish Deshmukh, Sanjay Dutt, others condole

On Wednesday, January 28, 2026, the Indian film industry joined the nation in mourning the sudden and tragic demise of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar. The senior NCP leader, along with four others, was killed when their charter aircraft crashed and burst into flames during a landing attempt at Baramati Airport in Pune district. Riteish Deshmukh, Sanjay Dutt, Anupam Kher, Shilpa Shetty, Madhur Bhandarkar, Shatrughan Sinha took to their social media handles to pay their respects.
