Strong start for PMC as stamp duty collection touches Rs30 cr

Patna Municipal Corporation has kicked off the 2026-27 fiscal year with a strong Rs30 crore in stamp duty revenue by mid-April, driven by property registrations. This marks a significant increase from the previous year, with funds earmarked for crucial urban infrastructure development and maintenance. Residents can avail a 5% rebate on property tax paid by June 30, 2026.
