Kosi pontoon bridge to cut distance between Khagaria & Madhepura

A vital 500-meter pontoon bridge across the Kosi River near Beerbas village is nearing completion, set to significantly benefit around one lakh residents. This Rs 25.13 crore project will drastically cut travel time, reducing the journey between Khagaria and Madhepura by approximately 45 km. The bridge is anticipated to open for traffic on January 28, fulfilling a long-standing demand.
