City remembers Tagores short stay, century of influence

On the occasion of Rabindra Nath Tagore's 165th birth anniversary, Patna pays homage to the literary genius who graced the city in 1936. During his visit, Tagore was warmly welcomed by P R Das and entertained with a stunning performance of 'Chitraganda'. This historic gathering saw Tagore honored with a purse dedicated to Viswa-Bharti.
