US, EU lock in trade deal; US official sees auto tariff relief in weeks

The United States and European Union have finalized a trade deal. The US will impose a 15% tariff on most EU imports. This includes autos, pharmaceuticals, semiconductors, and lumber. The US will lower car tariffs once the EU cuts tariffs on US goods. Tariff relief could come soon. The EU will eliminate tariffs on all US industrial goods.
