Gurgaon: Water-logging kills two, auto rickshaw driver leaves behind pregnant wife

Gurgaon witnessed a tragic night on July 9. Shailendra, an autorickshaw driver, died after falling into an open sewer. Akshat Jain, a graphic designer, was electrocuted by a live wire in floodwaters. Shailendra's wife, Sumalata, is now left to raise their children alone. Both families have filed complaints citing negligence. Police have issued show-cause notices and are investigating the incidents.
