Govt raises sugarcane FRP by Rs 10 to Rs 365/quintal for 2026-27 season

The government has increased the minimum price for sugarcane. Sugar mills will now pay Rs 365 per quintal to farmers for the 2026-27 season. This decision aims to benefit one crore farmers and support the sugar industry. The new price is higher than the previous season. Farmers supplying to mills with lower sugar recovery will also receive a set price.
