Bihar joins Maharashtra, UP in curbing sale of non-subsidised fertiliser

Bihar has imposed restrictions on the sale of non-subsidised fertilisers to control access for farmers. These restrictions could limit the availability of advanced crop nutrition products through existing distribution networks. Industry executives warn that this move may lead to significant losses and hinder investment in new technologies. Concerns have been raised about potential impacts on soil health and crop productivity.
