Western railway achieves major milestones in electrification infrastructure safety and digital transformation in 2025

Western Railway celebrated a remarkable 2025, achieving full Broad Gauge electrification and a 97% punctuality rate for Mail/Express services. Digital ticket checking reached 100%, and safety was bolstered by numerous bridge constructions and level crossing eliminations. The year also saw the inauguration of a major loco manufacturing facility and technological advancements in traction systems.
