Senior advocate Milind Sathe to be new advocate general of Maharashtra

Senior counsel Milind Sathe has been appointed as the new Advocate General of Maharashtra, taking over from Birendra Saraf. Sathe, a legal veteran and former president of the Bombay Bar Association, brings extensive experience in constitutional law and public interest litigation. Saraf resigned citing personal reasons after a three-year tenure.
