Nearly 2 years after MoU, no skilled worker sent from Maharashtra to Germany

Maharashtra's ambitious plan to send 10,000 skilled workers to Germany, two years after signing an MoU, remains stalled. Despite Rs 5 crore spent on publicity and over 32,000 registrations, not a single person has been deployed. A pilot project faced hurdles with candidates failing German language proficiency tests, delaying the initiative.
