Ex-insurance staff held for Rs 24L loan scam using customer data

A former insurance employee and an associate were nabbed in Haryana for a Rs 24 lakh loan fraud. The accused allegedly tricked policyholders, accessed their OTPs, and manipulated company systems to divert funds to mule accounts. The scam unraveled after a customer reported an unauthorized loan notification. Investigations are ongoing to apprehend a second employee.
