Bombay high court seeks BMC affidavit on Mehta Mahal C1 category dispute

The Bombay High Court has asked the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation for an affidavit. This is to confirm if Mehta Mahal building was declared C1 category in April 2024. A C1 building is considered dangerous and needs demolition. The court is hearing a petition from Drishti Hospitality Company. The company wants the building demolished to ensure safety.
