Birth certs to Bdeshis: Mumbai mayor says 119 taken back, FIR on 116

Mumbai Mayor Ritu Tawde announced that 119 fraudulent birth certificates issued to Bangladeshis have been retrieved from the BMC portal. FIRs will be filed against 116 individuals for refusing to return certificates or being untraceable. A demand for a SIT to probe the alleged scam has been made.
