City birds more wary of women, study finds

A study of 37 urban bird species, including great tit, house sparrow, and common blackbird, has found that birds tend to flee earlier when approached by women than men. On average, men could get about 3.3 feet closer before birds took off. Researchers say the reason behind this unexpected behaviour remains unclear
