Palestine factions could postpone elections amid Israeli complications, internal feud

Palestinian factions are contemplating a delay in the upcoming legislative elections initially set for November 28. This potential postponement is attributed to logistical challenges in Israeli-annexed East Jerusalem and Gaza following the recent war. President Mahmoud Abbas's Fatah party is part of discussions regarding the election timing and national consensus. The European Union has offered to deploy observers for the legislative elections.
