Nevada volunteers remove 120,125 pounds of waste from Truckee River watershed

On September 26, over 575 passionate volunteers dedicated their time to a significant cleanup effort in Nevada's Truckee River watershed. Their hard work resulted in the removal of an astounding 120,125 pounds of waste, which included both litter and invasive weeds. This collaborative initiative also focused on planting vegetation and enhancing storm drains, all aimed at safeguarding the local ecosystem.
