SIR: Civil society, youth groups rally in Bengaluru over voter roll revision

Civil society groups and activists protested in Bengaluru against the Special Intensive Revision on Thursday. They claimed that the ongoing verification process risks disenfranchising genuine voters ahead of future elections. Prominent figures, including YouTuber Dhruv Rathee and actor Prakash Raj, participated in the protest. Organizers conducted a People's Tribunal to share experiences of voter list removals. Protesters demanded transparency from the Election Commission of India regarding the revision process.
