Iran attacks 10 ships near Strait of Hormuz in response to US strikes, oil prices surge

Iran attacked ten ships near the Strait of Hormuz after the United States sank five Iranian oil tankers. This escalation caused benchmark Brent crude futures to surge past one hundred dollars a barrel. The United States military released video showing Iranian tankers ablaze before they sank overnight.
