Amid calls for education reforms, NTA Chairman caught in political crosshairs

Pradeep Kumar Joshi was appointed Chairman of the NTA in August 2023, after stints heading the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC), the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC), and the Union Public Service Commission. However, Opposition leaders, former government officials, and activists, have questioned his actions as the Chairman of the State bodies and have alleged political recommendations for his appointments
