Who is Shakti Sharma: Air Vice Marshal Shakti Sharma has become the first woman non-medical officer in India's defence forces to attain the Air Vice Marshal rank. Commissioned into the IAF Education Branch in 1994, she has served for about 32 years across diverse postings and has also led Sainik School, Kapurthala.
