We are in contact with all stakeholders over Chabahar Port operation: MEA

India is actively engaging with its partners and stakeholders concerning the ongoing operations at Chabahar Port. The government has upheld its financial commitment of USD 120 million to the project. Since 2018, India Ports Global Limited has managed the port. However, the US waiver on sanctions for this project expired on April 26, 2026. Additionally, India and Iran formalized a 10-year operational contract for the port in May 2024.
